Sotheby’s International Realty

It is with humility and inspiration that I will follow in Philip White’s footsteps as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sotheby’s International Realty, effective November 1, 2026.

Over 19 years of leadership, including 13 as CEO, Philip and the Sotheby’s International Realty community grew from $4 billion to $182 billion in global sales volume in 2025. World-class performance by any measure.

Equally impressive is his judgment of people and character, reflected in the extraordinary professionals who make up this global network.

Philip, thank you for your leadership, friendship, and confidence in me. I am honored to build upon your legacy and grateful you will remain with us as Executive Chairman.

Philip White

Philip A White, Jr.

I have spent much of my career building luxury real estate businesses. There is nothing quite like Sotheby’s International Realty. Its brand, people, and culture are exceptional.

Recognized globally and brought to life locally by our employees and real estate advisors, Sotheby’s International Realty stands at the pinnacle of luxury. With that distinction comes extraordinary opportunity and significant responsibility.

We are not simply participants in the luxury market. We define its standards.

As I assume this role, I recognize that confidence must be earned. My first sixty days will be dedicated to listening and learning. I want to understand what makes us exceptional, where we can improve, and how we can build an even stronger future.

These conversations will shape our shared vision for our next chapter.

Our success will be measured by the performance of our advisors, the strength of our affiliates, and the exceptional experiences we deliver to clients.

I am joining an extraordinary team. I look forward to working alongside Tammy Fahmi, Brad Nelson, Cliff Siegel, Marissa Ghesquiere, and our many talented colleagues to build upon what has been accomplished.

Throughout my career, two principles have guided my leadership: trust and performance.

Trust is earned through actions, not titles. Performance is the measure of our commitments.

Our responsibility is to honor what has been built while having the ambition to make it even better.

This is Where We Are Now!

Thanks!
Mark
