As AI accelerates, are you ready?

I have just spent my second day, in the last thirty, at Cotality’s Discovery Center in Irving, TX. Cotality, formerly Corlogic, aggregates and enables, through AI, billions of data points from 22,000+ sources, 99 percent being direct from the source. The data matches every aspect of properties with people and much more.

What is remarkable to me is the perspective of Patrick Dodd, President and Chief Executive Officer, that this massive effort begins with people.

What a refreshing approach. My perspective has always been, “if we don’t get the people right, nothing else matters.”

Understanding the needs and behaviors of real estate professionals is paramount in the delivery of AI enabled technology. At the core of a real estate business are relationships. Relationships are built on trust. Relationships are memorialized in CRMs which must be trusted as well to achieve the benefits of AI.

The emergence of AI-enabled technology in our industry is moving at a ferocious pace. Compass One, Homeowner.ai, Live.InHere.com and OneHomeowner.com are examples of technologies that are driving our AI enabled world.
AI empowered CRMs will propel a real estate professional at an exponential pace compared to legacy professionals not embracing AI. The demonstration of Cotality’s data aggregation, AI capabilities, and information delivery was powerful to say the least.

A few years ago, in 2022, AI was eliminating the “routine and mundane” from our businesses. Today, AI is the anticipation of the future – I have seen it now twice in thirty days.

As Brian Solis recently stated: “If you are not inventing the future, you are just fuel for it.”
